Cassa Designs was founded in 2018 by three architects—Khaled Rashwan, Abdalla El Masry, and Ahmed Abozeid—who met while studying Architecture in Cairo. United by a shared passion for furniture design, they gained industry experience at top design firms before launching Cassa Designs to bring their vision to life.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Driven by their vision to merge artistry with functionality, Khaled, Abdalla, and Ahmed united to establish Cassa Designs—a furniture design and manufacturing company that would allow them to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. Starting with a modest workshop and a small team, their commitment to high-quality, stylish furniture that balances form and function quickly earned Cassa Designs a reputation for excellence.
Today, Cassa Designs has grown into one of the leading furniture design and manufacturing companies, serving clients across Egypt and beyond. Despite their success, the founders remain deeply committed to their original vision: to create furniture that is not only functional and stylish but also personalized to suit each client’s unique lifestyle. With every piece, they strive to honor the beauty of Egyptian craftsmanship, transforming living spaces into places of warmth, cultural identity, and elegance.
Cassa Designs was established with the ambition to craft homeware accessories and tableware inspired by Egyptian artisanship, focusing on creating authentic and unique products.
Showcasing in around 20 retail stores across Egypt. Launching the famous Faux Copper Planter Set, which became a bestseller and a defining product of the year.
Marked the launch of the first furniture collection, shifting the focus from homeware accessories to furniture as the brand began to grow significantly.
Completed the first commercial project, Pier 88 Almaza, in collaboration with Travco. This project marked Cassa Designs’ entry into the commercial sector and gained significant exposure.
Expanded operations to collaborate with over 50 leading designers and developers in Egypt, delivering exceptional commercial, retail, and hospitality projects.
Broadened the brand's reach to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, taking on residential and commercial projects in the region. Additionally, launched 3 collections, introducing over 100 new products.
Introduced Cassa Yard, the first showroom experience in 6th of October, and began preparations for the next showroom at Park Street East, New Cairo.
